Janet Hampson, Manchester Casting Director

Janet Hampson casts award winning drama and comedy.

With over 20 years experience working with the best directors, producers and writers her credits range from series for ITV (Coronation Street), BBC1 (Citizen Khan), BBC2 (Hebburn), BBC3 (C-Bomb, Lunch Monkeys), CBBC (The Johnny & Inel Show) and Sky (The Cruise, Little Crackers). Janet also enjoys working with emerging directors on short films and innovative projects for theatre, radio and art.

Janet trained and worked as an actor before moving into production in both London and Manchester and has a good understanding of what makes the perfect cast - and knows where to find them. She is a member of the Casting Directors’ Guild of Great Britain and Ireland (CDG) and represented by Angel and Francis +44 20 7439 3086.
