We’re lucky in the North ….

June 10th, 2010

because we have great talent up here, and also great venues to see actors from across the UK. This week I’ve seen 3 fab young actors in Powder Monkey at the Royal Exchange Studio, the funniest ever production of The Importance of Being Earnest at The Library Theatre (Russell Dixon IS Lady Bracknell!) and tonight I’m going to see what looks like a raucous show: Girls Night Out. Three very different shows, many good actors.

cvs, photos, showreels & shows

April 29th, 2010

I’ve got a request and a promise.
I’m afraid it’s got to the stage where I can no longer store the many photos and paper cvs that I’m sent, I just don’t have the space. So I’ve got a request: please don’t post me your lovely black and white head shots and cvs but email them to me, and if a photo is attached which is a reasonable file size, I promise to look at it – and keep it. I will also view online showreels – but please don’t post them.
As for shows, I’ve seen some great performances across the north west recently – and discovered some great new talent in the process. I’ll post the story behind one of them very soon …
thanks
